2 to 12 weeks. Some chickens molt quickly, and some seem to take for ever. You can speed up the time it takes them to grow back their feathers by increasing their protein intake. Feathers are 90% protein, so the more you give them, the better. You can switch them to a grower type feed while they are molting. They don't need the calcium in layer feed while molting anyways.
