I have six very spoiled chickens: a silkie, a golden seabright, a white-crested black polish, a silkie/ameraucana mix, a barred rock, and a french black copper marans. All but the FBCM are in their 3rd season. The FBCM is in her 2nd. A couple of months ago they all started a molt at the same time. As of close to a month now, all feathers are grown back in but only the silkie is laying. They are fed Layena along with fresh veggies and fruits. They are provided a very clean coop and are free-range except when I am not home. I have inspected their bodies and see no signs of lice. I have kept them in their coop for several days to rule out the possibility of laying elsewhere. It's been over 2 months now and I want my eggs, LOL! It is hot as heck now in NC but they were not laying even before the weather became blazing hot. Thoughts?
