Hi,

I recently added two 12 week Americaunas to my already tiny flock (one year old Barred Rock, one year old Rhodie) about a month after my dog killed our year old black sexlink. The babies and the bigs were quarantined for almost three weeks, then we started putting them into the coop together. everything was fine until they started roosting together and the older two have stopped laying completely. We were having some slowing from one of the bigs (sometimes a soft egg, sometimes a ginormo egg, but not every day like it had been), but they haven't laid anything for at least two weeks now. They don't free range outside of their 10X30 enclosure, and there aren't any piles of secret eggs. They get oyster shell, I put a tbsp of apple cider vinegar in their water, they've been de-wormed and treated for mites. still nothing!

Some of mine are taking a break currently. It's normal this time of year.

Adding new birds can be enough of a stress to halt laying for a bit too.

Are the mites completely gone?
Lose the ACV, it can inhibit calcium uptake.
I'd guess tho that the stress of the newcomers is the main cause of the no eggs.

Nice sized run, but how big is the coop, in feet by feet?
Dimensions and pics are always helpful.

Oh, and....Welcome to BYC! @SaintTangerine

It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!
