I have 2-5 month roosters, 5 laying hens, 2-5month pullets and 4-1 month old chicks, so 13 total. Free range, huge fenced in area, 32 square ft coop, with covered area. Clean coop, clean water and fresh food with scratch or veggies every day.
Once the 4 chicks hatched I haven't gotten anymore than one egg every day or so from one hen. They aren't hiding them or eating them.
Why won't they lay????

Many hens will stop laying this time of year as the days shorten. Often, but not always, they will start molting as they stop laying. Most breeds just need a winter break. If your 5 month old pullets have started laying, however, should continue through the winter.

I never see any in the nesting boxes, and they are all fully feathered. Eggs stopped when the chicks hatched. I thought maybe they had to come up with a new pecking order but it's been a month
If they free range, hidden nests are always a possibility as well.

Sun all day, pullets haven't laid yet, yard is cleared enough there are not any places to hide eggs. I would assume if they were all molting they would look pretty rough?
