Chickens that are heat and cold hardy

Hi all! I am seriously considering getting chickens this coming spring after researching for a while. I live in GA, on 5 acres, where the temps can reach past 100 in the summer and below freezing in winter. Which chicken breeds would do well in these temps?

You have a perfect area for raising birds. Any breed of chicken will do well in your climate.

I have an Easter egger and two silkies, I live in Missouri and it can get HOT and humid in the summer, most days in July and August reaching at least 90. They have done great but they love it when we give them ice water and make sure they have a ventilated coop! We shall see how the winter goes, this will be their first one!
