Chickens & Turkeys dying

I think after losing allot of fowl I have it under control but not sure. There getting this watery eye and then it becomes with white stuff to the point where they can't see anymore and die. I think it came into the flock from some new turkeys that I didn't quarantine (learning the hard way). Does anybody know what this disease or virus is or has anybody come across this ? Some of the research I did I coming up with Infectious Coryza, which I hope I'm wrong.

Did you consult with your local agriculture extension service? You pay taxes; you deserve their expertise. Look in the telephone book under USDA. Don't try to tough it out by yourself, or you will loose your whole flock.

do call them... just out of curiosity what are you feeding them and what are the temps there???

They free range all day and I give them a variety of feed from craked corn to layer fed etc.
I live in Florida so the temps are high (90) but one problem is all the rain we are getting, the ground doesn't get a chance to dry before the next rainstorm comes in.

not sure, but you can try giving polyvisol (childrens A-B-D liquid vitamins ) 5 drops in the beak for a week and then taper off as vit A deficiency is often confused with a respiratory illness...stop all scratch grains to your birds in this hot sultry weather... not only are they more prone to mycotoxin damage (low level mycotoxins will compromise your birds immune system) but your bird creates internal heat in processing these which you do not want ... offer the appropriate age based commercial base feed in the morning or evening but remove during the day (this will help them from becoming overheated...when they use all their energy staying cool their immune system becomes compromised) ... it is also advised to add a poultry vit/nutritional supplement to their feed as in the heat they will also eat less... if your birds are panting then you need to add electrolytes to their waterer (available at your feed store)... here is a thread with lots of useful information for you concerning heat stress and measures to take ...
