I have several chickens that have patches of missing feathers and they look like they are burned. It is on their backs and around the vent area. I first thought that they were chemical burned from using seven dust for the mites or from using DE in there lots. I am not sure what is going on they are not getting anybetter. Also I have two hens who's area around and underneth the vent is very distended. I just checked one of them and she has two different types of mites or lice on her. But there were some areas where her skin looked green like it had been bruised or something. A while back I thought that I had a hen that was and internally layer whose vent area became swollena and distended. Could this problem be due to the mites and lice instead of them being internal layers. What are the chance of having three interal layer within a few months of each other. I have a difficult time keeping the lice and mites in check. I am going to try to use cycdectin on them to see if that will get the external parasites too. I could use some advice. I want my flock to be healthy and right now they are not. Thanks
