I have a friend who has some chickens and he said they get what looks like small soap bubbles in the corners of their eyes. He said he has tried terramycin for several days and it would go away for awhile, then return. Said it was like some type of upper respiratory infection. Just wondering if anyone had heard of something like this. Thanks, Perry in Ky.

They might just need a vit A supplement (this is sometimes confused with a respiratory ailment ) which can be achieved by giving POLYVISOL in beak (three drops) once a day for a week ...
dependent on the symptoms they might need an antibiotic...

give a shot of tylosin in the sinus cavity- by the nostril....
last year i had this problem........wish i could remember the web page i got all the info from ???

any help out there?

the nasal flush and treatment with tylosin in the nasal cavities needs specific instruction as you can easily damage something just sticking a needle in their nasal cavities.... there was a page with photos and explicit instructions (I believe it was on a peacock) and this procedure is usually advised when there is serious blockage issues with exudate. I am unsure now where you can find it as the link I had is no longer up. It is a specific procedure for a specific problem and should not be undertaken if you have never done before or without specific instructions on how to do it
