Chickens Won't Eat Corn or Milo

Impeckables 10lbs bags of scratch are sold at TSC.

10lbs is still entirely too much, I brought a bag and still had 80% of it a year later. I'd need 1-2lbs at most. I only have 7 birds who get treats infrequently

Wow, nice! Compared to here, I just ordered another 50 lb bag of ours lol. It comes auto-ship from Chewy every three weeks, but we ran out. A few handfuls to every pen of four/five chickens, plus all the growout pens, main coop, and ducks, it goes fast! We have around 50 silkies over 5 months old. Since it's actually feed, I guess I'm a little generous. Otherwise, I'd be pretty stingy on it.

Unfortunately I haven't seen bags any less then 10lbs.

The only place I can get Kalmbach's has a mold problem in warehouse. Ty, tho!!!

I order it from Chewy.

I've resorted to just using cat food. They only get half a handful a few times a month at most (mainly if I need to round them up). Between my 2 cats and the several stray and ferals I feed, it gets used up regardless

Now if I could be as good at restricting treats for myself, I'd certainly be better for it xD

Have you tried looking for smaller bags sold as wild bird food, or even just getting something sold as human food? I wouldn't think the higher cost would be that much of an issue with those amounts.

Eh, it's not a big deal. I always have cat food on hand anyways and they only rarely get treats

Hmm, come to think of it I still have most of a tiny bag of meal worms somewhere from last year..... Yeah, I really don't give them extras that often
