Chickens won't go into chicken coop

A tree fell very close to my chicken coop, so close that the branches moved the coop slightly. Since then my chickens will not go into the coop at night. I am not even sure if the chickens were in it at the time. It happen during the day and I let the chickens free roam in the yard during the day. What can I do to get them back into the coop? Thanks dhalle

Make sure that the birds can easily get into the coop, then you may need to show them that it's safe to be in there. I have had to give a number of chickens lessons on how to find the coop. It rarely takes more than a day or two before they figure things out for themselves.
