Chickens won't use new coop.

Will they figure it out? My chickens are usually in the coop by now and it is raining. Is there something to do so they will use the new coop?

How did you introduce them to the new coop? Most say to lock them in there for at least 2 days, maybe up to a week, so they learn that it's home.

Did you keep them locked in the new coop for a few days so they could learn where home is?

You will probably have to go out right when it gets dark and physically put them in the coop.
Should only take 2-3 nights maybe sooner if you're lucky.

Thanks. I guess worried over nothing. I got dressed to go out in the rain and catch chickens and there they were all roosting in the coop. Not as dumb as they look I guess.
