I have noticed in somewhat hot and humid weather it looks like they are doing this. Or is this their way of panting and cooling themselves down? Just curious.
 
Panting is normal in the heat. If they are stretching their necks and opening and closing their mouths they could be gaping. You can do a search on here for gape worm if you suspect that's what they are doing.
 
Well, what you can do is, if they haven't been wormed for this season, now would be a good time. Better to be safe than sorry.

Also, they should have plenty of shade and cool water to drink. When my babies act like they're getting too hot, I put ice in their waterer for them.
