My chickens were in there pen and have been for 4 months
earlier in the week I lost 5 to a wild cat....what a mess
night before last I lost another 9 by the same problem...wild cats....but have only picked up 7 chickens not 9...so assume they have taken two with them...maybe to feed wild kittens
All had an egg in them..
Used them to bait for wild cats and foxes..as have a licence to do so
Ill have to put a cover over the top to keep wild cats out, also to keep crows out as they steal the eggs..and also cockies as they pinch the grain....
This is all that is left along with feathers from one end of the pen to the other...
Never have I experienced such carnage...
