Hey guys so if no one saw this other post but my chickens eggs are late in hatching and they only wiggle when we make chickens sounds or play chickens recording would it be safe to help them hatch a little?

Yeah.
Be sure your not touching tgem.
Take the shell off, allow the sack to fall, then the chicks will peep and pull around.

I'm glad you joined.

How late are your eggs? If they aren't past day 24 or so, I'd leave them. Some eggs take a while to hatch, usually because of not quite optimum incubation conditions.

If you do decide to help, I suggest looking at this article:Step by Step Guide to ASSISTED Hatching - BackYard Chickens Community

If I understand right, you're still seeing movement in the eggs? If so, then at this point, I would try to help at least one or two of the chicks out of the eggs. There are some good explanations on how to do this on BYC and other Internet sources, but basically this is what you would want to do:

  • Take one egg out of the incubator
  • Carefully break a hole at the large end of the egg
  • Begin chipping away at the shell to make the hole larger
  • If you see blood vessels, or the membrane attached to the shell starts bleeding, put the egg back in the incubator
  • Get as much of the shell and membrane off the chick as you can--it should be able to wiggle out.

I'd be reluctant to help - your incubating temps. might have been off and subsequently the chicks didn't develop as fast. I have never hatched eggs, so I am just saying how I feel - please don't take it as gospel.
