I've given (or attempted I should say) treats to my chicks (8 weeks old) and they are afraid of the treats. I've tried split grapes, kiwi, cucumber, watermelon and tomatoes.... Is this normal????
I've left the treats in there with them and they won't even go near it. One time I put a cucumber peel on the food thing and they wouldn't go over and eat!
Am I doing something wrong? Our older chickens come running when I have treats for them. This is my first time with chicks this young.
