how long do the turkey chicks need the Heating light. I have 6 that are 2 weeks old and 12 that are 1 week old.

I don't know about turkey chicks but I know with chickens there are several links talking about brooder temperature. I'm sure there are some regarding turkeys.

are they outside or inside?

It really depends on the outside temp. and where the poults are being raised - in a brooder box, in a barn etc.

This time of year we can get by with taking them right out of the incubator and putting them under a regular 100watt light bulb in the house - In colder weather we use a 250watt heat bulb. When it's 90's during the day they don't alot of extra heat.

You should raise the heat source to lower the temp once a week until the brooder is the same temp as the outside the brooder, that would be day and night time temps - once you get there they don't need it.
