Chicks and their mom

I just set my broody hen on some eBay eggs. I was wondering, when her chicks hatch, is it alright if she eats the chick feed? I don't want the chicks to eat Laying Pellets, but I also don't know if it's ok for her to eat chick feed.

Its fine to feed her chick feed. She will love it. you can also feed her layer crumbles til the babies come then switch to medicated start and grow crumbles.
