Hi guys,
Right after I figured out who was the roos and which I want to keep it is starting again..
Today we received 5 buff orpington pullets, 5 Cochin strait run crossing fingers for more hens than roos, and 17 Cuckoo Marans ... I think there is 17 they move so fast
I ordered 15 so they probable sent me two extra roos
Hoping for pullets and just a couple cockerels
They all look wonderful. I was bummed as they were to come in yesterday or today and I work today but they came in before I had to leave and I had time to get them checked out and into the brooder
Hubby was going to pick them up and I had a list of what to do for him he was relieved he didn't have too
Now I'm bummed since I won't get to see them till 10 pm when I get home
Work sucks but I need the bucks...lol
The first week of Sept we are getting 6 polish pullets and I think the flock will be complete and we'll just let the hens raise a few chicks here and there.
Now to get them all feathered out before winter hits
