I built a 330 sq. foot coop & hatched 30 chicks a week ago. I had the chicks in a horse trough inside a metal building they seemed crammed in their. I woke up & said the heck with the brooder so I moved them to the big coop. They look like a bunch of ants in their new home but alot more happier & their not pecking each other. I also let their parents out to free range & heres a picture of mom listening to them chirpping on the other side of the wall.

Thats their feeder in the picture. It will take some time before they can use it.
