chicks dieing

have a friend that has frizzles and silkies and anacondas ,, the silkies and frizzles seem to have a 90% mortality
rate after they get 2 to 3 weeks old , they look fine eating and drinking well and just fall over the larger breeds don't .
I have 40 of her eggs in my incubator now and am going to see how they do here ,, any comments , suggestions
on why they are dieing after 2 to 3 weeks ???????

I use Corid to treat when needed and I know some people use sulmet. The above link gives a gen. desciption of cocci as well as a few other problems that chooks can have. The mortality rate and age of onset sound like cocci to me. Good luck with your birds.

Keep the snakes out of the pen with them (anaconda's are snakes)...sorry, could not resist.
