And I can not get the humidity to bump up over 53. I am going to try a pan of water directly under the vent intake holes and hope the fan pulls in the more humid air. It maybe to late already, i hoe not these are my marans and I have been dreaming of them for so long. Wish me luck

Some people put wet paper towels in the 'bator to boost the humidity.....maybe you could try that?

Sponges in a small bowl of water work really well too.

Also, if they get stuck, drip warm water into the opeing of the egg. That moistens the membranes again so that they can hatch.
