I'm new to chicken hatching and have been doing ok but a friend of mine got a few of my eggs to hatch herself and the first 2 hatchings went ok but the last batch started dying right away one chick didn't even make it out of the incubator. now some of her older chicks are starting to die which have had no physical contact with the ones that just hatched. the older chicks where very healthy and running around and then died within 24 hours of being fine. Can anyone help me would considser that it might be coccisidiosis but seems to be killing to fast and killing chicks that haven't eatten anything. some chicks look like they pooped out there insides.

Photos are always helpful. Even if the chicks didn't meet one another, did your friend practice biosecurity between dealing with each group? I.e. wash, change clothes if necessary, not use same feeding utensils or cross contaminate any other way...

Pooping out the insides would be about as serious a symptom as you'd want to see, photos would really help there, but chances are if they're prolapsing their intestines that would be more likely to be inherited than contagious. It's probably bloody poop you're seeing, which would likely be cocci. The rapid deaths suggests it may be a very virulent strain or very weakly stock or both.

Raw garlic, finely minced, will kill cocci, if you feed it to them. Best wishes with them.
