Every once in awhile, I get a chick that insists on rolling onto its back, and cannot get back to its feet. Once upright, they appear to be ok. But, next thing you know, they are upside down again! I have had a few that have eventually died. This happens more with my pheasants, it seems, but I currently have a tiny serama that, every time I check the brooder, is on it's back, trying to flip over. She/he does seem a bit weak (but is also working very hard to right herself, and wearing herself out.) I've separated her, but I think that being with other chicks is almost better for her.

Thoughts?
