I'm finally done with the coop/run. I'm new to this, so I read as much as possible before putting it together. I made a video of what it looks like and moving the birds out to it from the brooder box. We will only have four chickens, so it is on the smaller side.

I changed a couple of things since the video was made. The chicks were slipping on the pop door ramp, so I added some wide, rough tape to it like what is used on skateboards. I had a bunch of it from a tractor restoration. The roosting bars were changed around and there is now a way for them to climb up on them instead of trying to fly in the small coop.

Thanks for all the knowledgeable members who contribute so much wisdom on this site.

Here's the video:

Nice coop!
Solid, secure, and nicely fabricated.
What are dimensions of coop itself...and length of run?
Would love to see some updated pics of ramp and roosts.

Welcome to BYC! @mcycle12
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

Overall dimensions are ten feet wide and six feet deep. The coop is 24" off the ground and measures six feet long and 40" wide.

Thanks for the tip about the account details. I completed it. I live in Southern New Jersey. The heat index was 100 plus when I was constructing the coop. The temperatures gave me a good idea of how the ventilation was working.

I'll get additional pics.
