chicks hatched - how long till eggs?

We just got a family of chickens (rooster, hen, 6 chicks). I believe the chickens are a couple of weeks old. How long till the hen (the mommy) will start laying eggs again? Do we need to do anything for her between now and then (or after?)

I have them seen start earlier, but around 5 or 6 weeks she will begin to wean the chicks, you can expect eggs shortly after
