Chicks hatching in the coop.

The mother will do a better job of brooding and she doesn't use electricity.

Not to mention that she will miss and pine for her chicks.

We intervened. The chick never absorbed the yoke sack and is in bad shape. The nest was not a desiarable location. If any others are healthy I'll leave them. We have it in the brooder under the lights on a paper towel. Hopefully it pulls through.
