My trusty little brinsea is failing me. I have chicks hatching now and the temp is 102...would it be too dangerous to move them to an incubator that's already at perfect temp?

Thanks.

If you have the temp and humidity perfect in the replacement bator then I say GO FAST, dont mess around too much and let them be out of humidity too long. You risk them drying out and dying either way because being too hot at pip cant be good.

You don't want to go to fast you could accidently drop one or crack one, or shake them up and kill them. Go slow take your time, after all the mommy will get off her eggs at least 30 minutes to take time to eat or drink. I think you can move them in less time then that..

I did move them into the other incubator, and all went well. Didn't drop any, but did have one externally pip in my hand...that was pretty cool!!
