Chicks hatching with wing tip feathers?

Hey y’all, so we just moved across the country a few months ago and took all my animals with us! Obviously there was no connection eggs from CA to KY so with the humidity, some mixed breedings took place. I’m having chicks hatch out that have feathers (not fuzz) on their wing tips.

If it helps any the eggs that are hatching are silver leaves twin dot, black sex link, black copper Marans

The roosters I possess are Easter Eggers, black copper, Marans, and black sex link

I’ve never seen chicks hatch with wingtip feathers so I was just curious if anyone knows anything about this. Thanks!

It's common with chicks that are fast feathering.

Yup. I just had that happen to me too. First one under the broody came out with feathers.

Wow! I have never heard of this nor seen this! Can someone post pictures of newly hatched chicks with feathers?

Go to the second page I think where I posted the picture from the chick in the incubator. This was the first chick to hatch from my broody. Although I had that egg inside for the last couple days. Look at the wing.. see the black feathers already out? It's hard to see. Let me see if I can attach some better pictures. I assumed this was from the heat here.

The first picture is less than 24 hours old. The second picture is less than 3 days old. In the video of me opening the egg you may be able to see it better. I'm not sure.

Normal fast feathering chick. Nothing unusual about it.

None of my other ones have that. It was a first for me. They are Wyandotte/Delaware mixes and most are slower to feather.
