Chicks in Phoenix

I have 5 three to four week old chicks and a coop outside ready for them. I want to put them out in the coop. one side of the coop is open (wired), should I board it up to prevent drafts? I live in Phoenix. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

maybe close it or half way hows the temp.

If they are fully feathered, they should be fine, but you could rig up a heat lamp in the corner, just in case.
