chicks in the dark

I have 4 3 week olds and 2 4 week old chicks. They are pend up in my garage it was in the mid 80 here in Maryland today. Its still 80 degrees in my garage now wouldit be ok to leave them in the dark with no heat lamp

As long as they are warm enough, they don't need the light. When they are raised by a hen, they don't have a night light. If it's down to 70 at night, they will be fine.
