Chicks in the Garage?

ok, im at my dads and if i was at home, there would be no way my babbies would be outside..no matter what
but anyway, my two week old silkies are out in the garage and its suppost to get down in the 40s tonight...is it okay?
its a closed garage, theres a red heat lamp thats just sitting on the top of the brooder, we got most of the openings coverd with a towel...are they ok??

Ive had my chicks (2 weeks to 4 weeks) in a covered trailer with a tarp on top, and 3 heat lamps for about a week. Mine are all doing fine, and it's been down in the 30's more than once. If you're worried put another lamp in there. It's supposed to snow here tonight, and be down around 30 sunday night... and mine are going to be fine (not that I don't wake up at 3am and go check on them...).
