chicks in the incubator

Once the chicks hatch in the incubator, how long do/can they stay in there before taking them out and putting them in the brooder. because i heard that if you open the lid, then the other unhatched chicks get "shrink wrapped" in there eggs, because it'll let all the humidity out. Can the chicks all stay in there with no food/water until all have hatched. PPA! (Personal Preferences Appreciated)
 
I am wondering the same thing. I have 3 chicks that are playing soccer with the rest of the eggs. I want to get them out give everyone else a chance.
 
Just hatched chicks will be fine 48-72 hrs without food or water. the yolk they just absorbed before hatching will be enough for that lenght of time
