Chicks n Fruit

I have seen that a lot of people feed their chicks fruit and they love it. My cicks are a little over two weeks old. They LOVE oats and superworms. But whenever I offer them fruit of any kind they look at it quizzically but don't touch it. When do chicks usually get interested in fruit? I realize that normally mama would teach them by her example. Will they eventually just try it on their own?

I think mine just tried it and loved it from the get-go. They also loved string cheese the first time I introduced it to them...
