so i have 4 chickens right now
2 are about 2 months old and thriving in their outside coop and i have another two that i just recently acquired maybe 2-3 weeks ago. they don’t seem like they’re growing at the same rate as my first two.
when i first got the new ones they must have been either day old or a couple days old, the chick feed i have seemed too big so i basically blended it to a little chunky powder consistency and they ate that and about a few days ago i put regular chick feed in there without blending it and i don’t think they’ve touched it. do i need to continue to blend the feed ? i didn’t have to do this with my first chicks so i don’t know.
also, i went to give them some meal worms today and they both seemed very eager for them to the point that it seemed like they were starving so that’s why i’m thinking of this now.
