I was looking for pipping yesterday all day which was only day 19. I didn't see anything. With all my temp problems I was wondering if it was a doomed hatch. I was getting ready this morning and kept hearing chirping so I went to the bator and could hear the chirping. I thought oh wow there is a live chick in there. I kept going back and looking and an egg in the back was already zipped. Within 3 minutes he was out.
My very first chick and believe me, I did the chicken dance. lol Now hopefully he gets the other eggs going. There is no pipping on any of them that I can see.
Oh and, this was an LG and I did the dry incubation.
