Chicks to Give Away (Black Australorp)

Hello,
My name is Mariah I am a first grade teacher. Two other teachers and I just did the incubator project and together we hatched 17 healthy Black Australorp chicks.I picked that breed because they are good layers. We are looking for a good home for them by 3/6/15 when they will be 4.5 weeks old. We are not sure which are roosters yet. We need the new owner to commit to taking pictures of the chicks as they grow into chickens every week or so and e-mailing them to us so we can keep our students updated. Please e-mail me and let me know how many chicks you can take.

If you haven't already found homes for your BA chicks, you can post about them on your state thread. That way members closer to you will find out about them. Here's where you can find your state thread:

I'm glad you joined our "flock!"

I am interested! I have 3 Buff Orpingtons and 3 NH reds all about a year old. I am looking for 2 or 3 Black Australorpes to add to the flock. It would be best if they are older. (I got my others at 12-14 weeks.) They will be well taken care of, and I will send pictures as you like.

Thanks, Kelly (Just e-mail me).
