I'm telling you my little girls and guys(hopefully only 5) are just to funny. They all have thier own personalities.

One of my Golden Laced Cochins is already a luv bug, she just stands there and lets you pet her..if you put her in your lap she is even happier.

One of my Delaware is just to curious and crawls up my arm to get higher.

The five NH red..which I believe are all males are pushy and jealous, if one is sitting on my hand the other think they have to too..so then I have 5 jumping at me..to funny. They are also the ones doing the "chicken fight" all bowed up like they are big and bad.

The rest of the chicks are spazzes...they come and check me out, run the minute I try to touch them..whatever to each thier own. I could sit there for hours watching and playing with them. My poor ole bumb can't handle the plastic crate for to long though..lol

Sorry didn't mean to post twice!!!

I know exactly what you mean! It is such a joy to just sit and be with the chicks, getting to know them and they you! I was rewarded for doing this when I finally brought my chicks out to the coop. I have older chicks that were about 6-10 weeks old already when I got them and we've only had them for about 2.5 weeks now (I have other chicks that I've had since day 1) and I was worried they wouldn't like me like my lil ones do. Well, when they got spooked a little checking out their new space...they were comforted by my voice and kept looking at me like..."are you sure it's ok..well if YOU say so!" and went about checking things out again. It was my Sally Field moment..."they like me...they really like me!"
