I am planning to add to the family this spring! My questions are?

What kind of chicks can I put with my currant chickens? Do they all get along? ( I currantly have 3 sex link hens)

Can you recommend hatcheries in Canada I can order from? (I'd like some different birds~ not a whole lot of selection in my parts)

Happy Spring Everyone!

I can't recommend any hatcheries in Canada, but I do want to mention that chicks and grown chickens, no matter what breed, do not mix together! The grown chickens will hurt and more than likely kill the chicks. You will need to set up a brooder (or a section of the coop) for the chicks to be in and keep them separated until the chicks are grown. I usually add my chicks to the flock at about 18 to 20 wks. That way there is no size disadvantage there. I don't know if that's the right way, but it's what I do.

I hope this helps some.
