Chicks with feathered feet

My mixed flock of barred (and barred rooster) and red/white/black laying hens (all standard) have produced 2 little chicks with feathered feet.
None of the flock have feathered feet.
They are the cutest little things but I don't know how it happened?
Any ideas?

It was probably on the ancestry of the parents somewhere, the genetics just mixed right

Apparently one or more of your hens is crossbred and a parent or grandparent was a feather footed breed. Even possible and maybe likely that the same is true of your rooster. Do you know any of your birds' breeds? Not just the variety/color but actual breed.
