Okay, well after forever working on the coop and painting and re painting many times and winging it on run construction and pretending to become a roofer, and installing many more doors.... Finally I am finished!!

That is absolutely gorgeous. Did you have any written plans? I bought my first coop made by someone else. But I’m looking to build a second one as either a bachelor coop or to have more room for the girls. Seeing people build nice coops such as this gives me inspiration and motivation. Although I don’t think mine will turn out nearly as nice job well done

Thanks! unfortunately I dont have written plans, but the basics of this are a 4x8 base 2' off of the ground. The front wall is about 4' tall and the back wall about 5' tall. The roof slope is 14-15 degrees. I separated the living area into two parts and in the smaller 2x4' part its a browser area on bottom and storage on top. The run extends 8' past the back wall of the coop. I just made it up as I went along. Hope that is helpful in some way. I would never recommend building a coop without a plan unless you really know what you are doing as that created a ton of problems for me. Next time I will follow a plan!
