Chip or crack in beak?

I have never had a chicken with a cracked or chipped beak before. Is there anything I should know? She seems to be otherwise fine.

I think I'd try to gently trim it down slightly, then file and reshape it. Do be aware that a beak also has a quick like fingernails do and it can be painful if you trim too much.
