Chipmunks a problem??

Does anyone know if chipmunks transmit anything undesirable to chickens? I have a chipmunck that gets into my run every morning to steal some BOSS, and I am wondering if I need to be more vigilant about getting him out of there.

Chipmunks will also destroy eggs- they break them open to eat the insides.

I am guessing they also carry lice.
