Chirping but no piping...

First time Hatcher...

This morning:
2 piped and chirping
1 piped no chirping
1 chirping not piped

Now:
2 hatched
1 no further piping and still no chirping
1 still chirping still no piping

What do I do for the little one still chirping but no piping? Day 22 Momma Hen is doing a great job sitting!!!

I had a chick like that during my last hatch. I made a “safety hole” by taking a tiny drill bit and making a tiny breach in the top of the air cell. It’s a happy and healthy chick now.

How long should I wait before putting a safety hole in the egg?

I wouldn’t. There’s no harm, because there aren’t any blood vessels in the air cell. I’m to expert. Correct me if I’m wrong!
