My Chocolate Cayuga and Chocolate East Indies Ducklings came in yesterday. I couldn't find any pictures online, so I thought I'd share some here so people can see what they look like. There is a Black East Indies Duckling in there too. It's next to a Chocolate in the first picture

What’s the difference between chocolate and blue? In all my research on Black East Indies I wasn’t able to find anything on a chocolate one.

They are adorable!

Blues are a slate gray color and Chocolate is Chocolate colored. The guy I got them from has the only ones I've even heard of. I have Blues of both breeds coming later in the year. It's going to be a fun breeding season next year lol

Very fun. I have had very little luck finding East Indies as ducklings. I am super excited to see yours grow up.

They are so cute! Looks like my Khaki Campbell's when they we little. Are those the ones your are calling Chocolate Cayuga? Congrats on your baby's so sweet.

Thanks. And yes, the lighter ones with the smaller tufts of yellow on the chest. I'm not sure what went in to making them but so far they act and carry themselves like normal Cayuga. My hopes are pretty high for them to be what they're supposed to be. The guy who bred them is extremely knowledgable and good at what he does though, so I guess I shouldn't worry too much.
