I would like to buy more chickens but can only have 1 more due to County ordinance. I can not decide if I want a Chocolate laced wyandotte or a silver laced one. I know that I can view stock photos of said chickens but often they are enhanced photos. I would like to see realistic pictures. Therefore, if you have either breed of chickens, would you be willing to post a picture of it? After viewing them, I will be able to make a more informed decision that I will be able to live with. Thank you so much.

I understand the bird count restrictions, because I have them too, but I’ll point out that integrating a single new pullet to an existing flock can be tough, whereas adding two means that they have each another during this period.

How old would the new one be?
Well, I would have to take what I could get. But I did see at least two hatcheries that had the chocolates as day olds. I saw one or two breeders who said the had older ones. I have done this before. I put the newly purchased adult or juvenile in a dog crate and put the crate in the run for several days. They get familiar with one another and then I let her out and supervise and observe so there is no problem I have done a couple of variations of thIs. It always is eventually successful. But my wife always says if i purchase a chicken, I should always order two.
