Chocolate Orpington with odd wings

Hey everyone,

I have a chocolate Orpington chick with really odd wings. They stick up and out pretty high and weird. It’s not to hot or anything and she’s acting fine. She is supposed to be two weeks old this weekend.

Sometimes wing feathers can look odd as they grow in. I wouldn't worry about it. Your chick will molt multiple times as it grows, so first feathers aren't always the same as final feathers.
