On Brichen based lacing, the Gold/Silver extends to the tail thanks to the combination of Db and Co(both columbian restrictors), You can see that on Sebrights and Orps, here is a male with such Silver laced tail, you can also see that the hackle is not clearly laced(on the males the hackle pattern is very thin, this is not seen on Sebrights because males are hen feathered )
This is eb/eb Co/Co based Lacing, the hackle shows a well defined pattern because Columbian allows it
Overall the Birchen based Lacing is thinner on the edges and males lack any noticeable hackle pattern than the eb/eb based ones due to the compound effect of Db and Co,
