Christmas babies!! Anyone else having Christmas babies?

Ok, set Broody DS with eggs from this morning, 2 coocooxRIR crosses, AmercaunaxRIR, and WellsommerX RIR. I'll give her a few more tomorrow and let her go!
Hopefully, mostly hens LOL Chicken n dumplings if not!

Me! Me! So glad to find this thread!

Today we set 3 Bantam Salmon Faverolle/4 Serama/4 BLRW eggs for Christmas babies!!! Might thow in two more Serama eggs if they cooperate tomorrow morning. We've been wanting to add the B. Salmon Fav's to our flock, and picked up 3 eggs from Cloverleaf Farms yesterday at a local show. So I am crossing my fingers mostly for them! The others were just thrown in for company in case only one of the three hatched!

I guess I have myself a broody girl ... but unfortunately no fertile eggs for her to set

She's not happy when I have to keep moving her to get the eggs she "THINKS" she should be setting on. Christmas babies would be so neat though!

Black copper marans due the 7th, assorted bantams due the 19th, white ameraucanas due the 24th, and Cayuga ducklings due around the 28th. And I am still shopping for eggs

My husband says I have a problem.

I wanna get all the chicks out of the way so I concentrate on raising some baby geese in the spring.

I had to give my incubator a vacation until after the holidays, then DH wants to run a batch of Pheasants through. I guess the incubator will have to go into the house as we will be having company so I have to take it out of our guest apartment. I wonder if he will notice me slipping in some chicken eggs...
