Christmas Day Massacre

I lost my lovely Phoebe (a RIR) on Christmas morning because a visitor brought their dog and swore he couldn't jump the fence-- turns out he could. Now I have one lonely Spanish Black Face left. I don't know where to find a new friend for her. It does not seem like the right time of year to find chicks or pullets, but I would love to find a friend or two for her. I know it's too little too late, but all dogs are now banned from the backyard.

i'm sorry to hear of your loss...

dogs that are not acclimatized to chickens cannot be trusted any where near them,, fence or no fence
i hope your lonely chicken gets a new friend as soon as possible
