*ahem*
In this season of love and friendship, I feel it is only appropriate to sing a song.

Chipmunks roasting in a forest fire,
Jack Frost ripping off your toes.
Yuletide carolers being mugged by a choir!

And folks dressed up like Navajos.

Everybody knows
the turkey ate the mistletoe,
sometimes turkeys aren't too bright.
Tiny tots with their clothes all aflame
will find it hard to sleep
tonight.

They know that Santa's passed away!
He's dropped his load of toys and goodies in the bay!
And every mother's child is gonna cry
to see that reindeer really don't know how to fly.

And so I'm offering this demented phrase,
to kids from 101 to 102,
although it's been said many times, many ways,
happy Hanukkah to you.

Imp- think I'll stuff the turkey with the chipmunk, and have Turmunken for Christmas.

Of course you're bringing brownies right?

Okay that would a lot of fun to listen too, during the holiday season. It would go great with the Grandma got run over by a Reindeer song.

I hope you and all the rest have a wonderful holiday season. I am simply tickled that I can ignore the whole holiday thing for the most part. .

Glad you all liked it.

Actually, I can't take credit for the lyrics- this was written 20+ years ago by my Aunt Linda while homesick on a church mission in Canada, and it's become a family classic.
